Layouts

The next generation of the Platform is designed to empower casual users to see what they need to know, at the desk or on the go. And while we love a good grid layout (#nerdalert), it's not necessarily the quickest way for a pastor, counselor, or causal volunteer to find that contact information when they need it most. The next generation of the Platform has options—so pick the layout that works best for you!

List Layout

Easy-on-the-eyes, the List Layout puts mission-critical information in color-code Record Facts so casual users can get the information they need at a glance. It's the perfect layout for church leaders who spend most of their time leading your entire congregation, but occasionally need to look up a phone number and take quick action.

List Layout is the go-to for casual Users, volunteers, Pastors, Elders, Deacons, and anyone who appreciates the ability to quickly see the information that matters most to YOUR church at a glance. It's the quick and easy layout that allows Care Pastors to navigate to the hospital and call the congregant to let them know their on the way with the tap of a Record Fact.

Grid Layout

The Grid Layout is the powerful classic you know and love. Use the Advanced Search Tool to customize your grid and add some color to draw quickly draw attention to key information.

Power Users and SPoCs may appreciate the List Layout, but we're guessing their first love will always be the Grid. Customized and color-coded fields allow staff who spend the majority of their time in the Platform to make ministry happen.

Calendar Layout

You use a calendar to organize all areas of your life. And you probably use a calendar on your mobile device, so visualizing events (or any data-oriented page) in the Platform just makes sense. Looking at a month is great, but don't miss the incredibly useful agenda scale. And be sure to utilize the legend to focus on key events.

While some Users may prefer List over Grid (or vice versa), everyone can appreciate seeing events on a calendar. We're all familiar with calendaring apps (hello, iCal, Google Calendar, etc.), so it's easy-peasy for pastors and other leaders to take a quick peek at the agenda to see what's coming up. And volunteers can see their upcoming Ministry events and other Ministry events to ensure all the teams are moving forward together.
