And with this update, all Notifications now use Templates! Processes, Item Notifications, and User Account were updated to use Templates in the November Platform release. Widgets will be updated to use Templates in a future Widget release.

Nightly Routine Changes

  • Enhanced the Group Attendance Notification to create Groups & Rooms (Event-Room) records so that Group meetings created by the routine can be seen and attendance can be posted via GroupLife.
  • Enhanced the Group Attendance Notification to include support for the new GroupLife application. Note: Setting SERVICES,AttendanceNotificationPath to GroupLife will send the Group leader a link to their Group in GroupLife to post attendance.
  • Enhanced the Group Attendance Notification to create Room & Groups (Room Reservation) records so that Group meetings created by the routine can be sen and attendance can be posted via GroupLife. If a Room is not assigned, the CLOUDDAPPS,GroupMeetingRoomID will be used.
  • Enhanced Outstanding Task Notification to send emails through the Platform rather than DBMail.  
  • Enhanced the Group Servant and Leader Service Notification to send emails through the Platform rather than DBMail.
  • Enhanced Configuration Setting "SERVICES,TaskNotificationMessageID" to correspond with Templates rather than Messages.
  • Enhanced Configuration Setting "SERVICES,ServiceNotificationMessageID" to correspond with Templates rather than Messages. 
  • Enhanced Configuration Setting "SERVICES, AttendanceNotificationMessageID " to correspond with Templates rather than Messages. Any Message currently configured for one of the pick-lists or Configuration Settings mentioned above has been copied over to Templates. No action is required. If you have a custom routine, it will continue to use Messages rather than Templates. Note: If your custom routine is based off of our standard Configuration Setting, this is a breaking change . If needed or desired, contact Support to engage PS for an estimate to change or update your custom routine.

Report Stored Procedure Change Only

  • *New* Added a new, fully revamped Statements approach for enhanced performance, consistency, and future My Statement Widget! Note: Read all about it and get your Standard Statements up and running today!
  • *New* Added a new report on the Groups page called "Selected Group Roster Multi-Week" that can be used to print a Group roster for up to 5 weeks, including the last attended date.
  • Fixed an issue where the Selected Contact List - Enhanced report did not limit results by the Congregation parameter. 
  • Fixed an issue where summary data was duplicated when grouped by Household on the Selected Household Donation report.
  • Fixed an issue with the Selected Record Review report to source the Event Notifications from the Templates pages instead of the Messages page. 
  • Fixed an issue where partial addresses would prevent the address from appearing at all on the Selected Directory Household report.
  • Fixed an issue where Default and Unassigned Contact would appear as "issues to address" on the Data Quality report.
  • Fixed an issue where 'Donation Listing,' 'Donation Listing - Enhanced,' and 'Donation Listing Simple' reports had a typo in the parameters. 
  • Fixed an issue where the Selected Household Donation report's parameters were out of order which caused some data not to appear. 
  • Fixed an issue where the Selected Household Donation Summary report gave a dataset error.  
  • Fixed an issue where an Address associated with a Bank record appeared on the 'Addresses Not in Use' view. 
  • Fixed an issue where the [Nickname] field did not render as "Parent of [Nickname]" when 'Send to Heads' was True. 
  • Fixed an issue where the Background Check Needed Notification contained an additional blank bullet point beneath headings.
  • Fixed an issue where some notification Message records listed the Reply To/From Contact from the Template record instead of the Opportunity or Event.  
  • Fixed an issue where the Nickname field on a Notification rendered as "NonCustodial of" instead of "Parent of" when Send to Heads was True. 
  • Fixed an issue where Notifications with 'Send to Heads' set to True sent to Heads of Household who had a contact status other than 'active.'

Database Object Change

  • Enhanced the default Participant sub-page view on the Events page to be "All (Except Cancelled)" which included all available Event Participation statuses except 05 Cancelled.

New System Setup Items 

  • *New* Added a new field for ‘Default Congregation’ on the Accounting Company record. Value blank at deployment. Note: Grant your Accounting Staff access to the “*Not Assigned” Global Filter to ensure they see all relevant Records.
  • Enhanced the number of discounted Security Roles to include:
    • MobileTools: Large Groups
    • MobileTools: Person Lookup
    • MobileTools: CareWorker
    • MyCallsPortalPage
  • Removed the "Restrict: My Messages" and "Restrict: My Contact Log" Security Roles if not currently being used by any Users to clean up old roles no longer needed.
