Reports, Routines, & Notifications - December 2022

 

 

User Task flow is about to change—with this release Users can complete a Task by clicking a button in the Notification email. And parting is such sweet sorrow, but it's time to say goodbye to several legacy actionable reports. And as an end-of-the-year treat, this release also includes several enhancements and fixes.

  • *NEW* The Financial Summary & Financial Summary Selected reports provide a summary of giving by Program or by total but do not list the individual donations. Perfect for mid-year giving updates.
  • Updated the Check-In Listing Report to exclude the Allows Check-Out option. Both the Allergies & Call Number and Check-Out Form versions of the report will continue to be available.

Reports

  • Enhanced the Selected Household Donation Summary report to display results for a single day.
  • Enhanced the Selected Program Donations Enhanced report so that large totals appear on one line.
  • Enhanced the Template User to User Responsibilities Transfer Report to transfer Template Users.
  • Enhanced the Selected Form Responses report to include additional information at the top of the form.
  • Added Reports to Catholic identified systems, including the Selected Sacrament Certificate report on the Milestones assigned page and informational reports on the Sacraments page.
  • Updated the margins on the User Responsibilities Transfer Report when saving to PDF/Word so the report does not span two pages.
  • Fixed an issue where the 3 Column with HH Photo Report displayed incorrect photos for Households with the same last name.
  • Fixed an issue where the Envelope File Report included Donors without addresses.
  • Removed deprecated reports, including the Selected Household Matches, Add Next Envelope Number, Compare Selected Relationships, Find Possible Duplicates, Matching Contacts, Adjust Selected Distributions, Campaign Donation to Pledge Matching, Create Batch From Selected Donations, Create Deposit From Selected Batches, Copy Selected Donations, Compare & Combine Selected Households, and Group Participant Attendance Reports.
    • Support for the Alter or Delete Subscriptions Report ends with this release, but the report will continue to be available until the Portal is sunset.
    • The Process Selected Payments report has been replaced with the Process Payments Tool. The report will continue to be available for reporting purposes.
    • The Selected Check-in Listing report has been superseded by Classroom Manager, GroupLife, PocketPlatform Group Management, or Group Attendance Tool. The report remains available for reporting purposes.

Routines

  • Enhanced the Data Quality Routine to merge duplicate Age or Grade Group Participant records where one Participant has more than one record in the same group or roles.
  • Enhanced the Data Quality Routine to update the corresponding Spouse when one Spouse's Type, Method, or Frequency is updated. Note: If you're currently using the Professional Services solution, it will continue to run without interruption. But if you'd like to switch to this enhanced version, contact Support to get the process started.

    Action Required: To activate this enhancement, you'll need to update the appropriate Configuration Settings. These will be set to False at Deployment. 

    • SSRS, SyncSpouseDonorType - Updates corresponding Spouse's Statement Type
    • SSRS, SyncSpouseDonorMethod - Updates the corresponding Spouse's Donor Method
    • SSRS, SyncSpouseDonorFrequency - Updates the corresponding Spouse's Statement Frequency
    • Moved the Participant Engagement page to the System Lookups section and limited access to Users who are Setup Admins for security.
    • Updated the Statement Maintenance Routine to include the Archived field when determining whether to remove Donors from a Statement.

    Notifications

    • *NEW* Users can now complete Tasks directly from the notification email.
    • Enhanced the Service Request Notification to use the Company Name if the To or From Template Contact is a Company.
    • Updated the Care Case Notification email to include cases where there had been a change to the Title Description, Contact, Care Case Type, or Case Manager. The updated report will include the dates when cases were created, updated, or closed.
