LifeApps - June 2021

 

 

A very warm welcome to CareLife, the newest member of the LifeApp family! We thoughtfully designed CareLife to empower your Care teams to care for your community with intentionality. But that's not all! We enhanced GroupLife to display future meetings scheduled within the next 30 days, threw in some bug fixes, and so much more!
CareLife
  • *New* Introducing the all-new CareLife LifeApp! This mobile-friendly app includes a Care Dashboard and Care Details where Care actions can be planned, updated, and completed.
  • *New* CareLife Case Administrator Security Role to grant access to Care Adminstrators to CareLife. Users with this Security Role will have access to all Care Cases in CareLife.
  • *New* CareLife Case Manager Security Role to grant access to Care Managers to CareLife. Users with this Security Role will have access to Care Cases in CareLife assigned to them and be available to have Care Cases assigned to them from CareLife.
Action Required: Users must be assigned one of these new Security Roles in order to login to CareLife.
  • *New* Added three new fields to the Household Care Log page:
    • Contacts: The Contact who directly received this Care interaction.
    • Action Date: The Date this Care interaction should or did take place. Populated at deployment with historical values based on Date Provided.
    • Completed: If True, this Care interaction has been completed. Populated at deployment as True if Care Outcome ID = 3 or 4 (Closed).
  • *New* Added a Care Case field to both the Feedback Entries and Needs records to optionally connect Prayer Requests and Needs to a Care Case and have them displayed for context in CareLife.
  • *New* Added optional SMS Number field to Programs to facilitate sending outgoing text messages from LifeApps
  • *New* Added optional Program field to the Care Case page in order to facilitate texting from CareLife.
  • *New* Added the new Configuration Setting  'DefaultCareProgramID,' which determines which Program Care Cases created via CareLife will be associated with.

Action Required: Be sure to review the following Configuration Settings: 

  • CLOUDAPPS, DefaultCareProgramID - update the Program ID to your church's desired value. Upon deployment, the Program ID will be set to '1' or the lowest possible value in each system.  
  • COMMON,GoogleMapsAPIKey - ensure your Google accounts are configured to enable maps in CareLife. See Google Maps API Key and Cloud URL for more information.
  • Enhanced standard Household Care Log views to include the new Household Care Log fields.
  • Enhanced the Care Log sub-pages and Household Care Log page default field list to include the new Household Care Log fields.
GroupLife
  • Enhanced Group Meetings to display future meetings scheduled within the next 30 days.
  • Fixed a typo within GroupLife Communications when Attachments were added to the Group Communication.
  • Fixed an issue where the Domain Logo did not resize appropriately on Mobile Devices within the GroupLife application.
  • Fixed an issue where future group participants appeared within the Member panel before their start date.
  • Fixed an issue where future group participants were eligible for attendance for past Meetings.
Configuration/Security
  • Enhanced LifeApps login to set the Referrer as "LifeApps" in the Authentication Log.
  • Fixed an issue where the church specific logo did not show when the incorrect URL/page message was displayed.
