LifeApps - December 2021

 

You asked, so we filled this release with new features and enhancements requested by YOU! This release includes the highly anticipated, incredibly convenient LifeApps homepage, an updated GroupLife Dashboard to make managing groups easier, and allows Group Leaders to manage Group inquires within GroupLife! But wait! There's more! This release has a whole bunch of  new features and enhancements, and fixes ;). Have a great idea for LifeApps? Add it to the Idea Board! And while you're there, vote for other great ideas.
All LifeApps
  • *NEW* All new LifeApps homepage allows users to access GroupLife and CareLife from the hamburger menu in the header. 
  • *NEW* Added the ability for a User to update their profile via LifeApps.
  • Added a warning when the user has exceeded their Mass email or text quota, letting them know their message was not sent.
  • Enhanced COMMON, DefaultParticipantType Configuration Setting to include LifeApps.
  • Fixed an issue where users with a large number of Security Roles were not able to access LifeApps.
CareLife
  • *NEW* Added a CareLife snippet that will take authenticated users to their CareLife dashboard.
  • *NEW* The new Case Managers with Active Care Cases view on the Contacts page allows Care Case Administrators to monitor and follow up as needed. Pro tip: Set up a view notification to remind Care Case Administrators to check in ;).
  • Added an optional Contact field when adding a new Care Case from the CareLife dashboard.
  • Enhanced CareLife so search results are retained after selecting a record and then returning to the Dashboard.
  • Enhanced the Care Cases Contact to display the Contact's home address when neither the location of the Care Case nor the Care Case Household have available mapping.
  • Enhanced adding a new Care Case on the CareLife Dashboard, so that both a filter and search are retained.
  • Enhanced CareLife cursor icon behavior to clarify that the statistics panel is not actionable.
  • Enhanced CareLife so the audit log notes "on behalf of" the User who made the change.
  • Enhanced Care Case Details for clarity and consistency.
  • Updated the new Care Log icon for clarity. Tap the list icon to create a new Care Log entry.
  • Enhanced CareLife to allow users to add new Care Cases when the associated Household is empty.
  • Moved the Care Case title, start date, and end date to the Care Case header.
  • Removed the magnifying glass from the dashboard search field.
  • Fixed an issue where navigating to the CareLife dashboard did not load.
  • Fixed an issue where CareLife did not honor the Case Manager security role.
  • Fixed an issue where the "New Care Case has been Saved" persisted after a new care case was saved.
  • Fixed an issue where the new Care Case confirmation message lingered after saving and closing the dialog box.
  • Fixed an issue where Care Case information entered via CareLife was not updated in CareLife or in the Platform.
GroupLife
  • *NEW* Group Leaders can now manage Group Inquiries directly through GroupLife. You wanted it and now you have it! We love adding meaningful features so you can leverage the power of the Platform. So let us know what you'd like to see on the Idea Board.
  • *NEW* Participants can be sorted by first or last name when taking attendance for a Group Meeting. You asked for it and we did it! Have another great idea? Get thee to the Idea Board!
  • *NEW* Authenticated Group Leaders or Primary Contacts can see all of their Groups by selecting GroupLife in the CareLife dashboard.
  • *NEW* Attendance can be taken an hour before the event begins.
  • Added "Create a Meeting" to the GroupLife home dropdown menu and removed "View All Members."
  • Enhanced GroupLife home page for clarity and consistency.
  • Enhanced the remove member confirmation to include an option to include a reason for removal.
  • Enhanced GroupLife so that, when adding a new Contact through GroupLife, the Group's Congregation is assigned to their household.
  • Enhanced GroupLife so that the user is returned to the Meetings tab after canceling a meeting.
  • Enhanced GroupLife so that new users are added to the Group when their information is saved.
  • Added a placeholder image for a contact when their record has no default image or the inquiry is a "Default Contact."
  • Removed "Back to My Groups" button from the GroupLife Home page.
  • Removed the View All Meetings link from the GroupLife Dashboard. All meetings can be viewed from the Meetings tab.
  • Fixed an issue where the GroupLife snippet returned an error.
  • Fixed an issue where accessing GroupLife on mobile returned an error in certain systems.
  • Fixed an issue where Group Participants who have both a current Group Participant record AND an end dated Group Participant record appeared multiple times when a leader recorded attendance.
  • Fixed an issue where confirming attendance in GroupLife created an extra Event Participant record (one confirmed and one registered).
  • Fixed an issue where a Household Records was not created when a new Contact was created via a GroupLife inquiry.
