Statement Headers are a means to organize Programs for reporting purposes. If you have a tithe and offering Program for each Congregation, you can use a single statement header to organize all these Donations into a single column on donor statements and other analysis reports. The Statement Header filters on all the Programs you have set up under that header.
The Statement Header associated with the Program will appear on your Standard Statement. Note: Be as creative as you want with your Program name, but there is limited Statement Header space, so be succinct here.
Statement Footers will also appear on your Standard Statement. The Statement Footer is added via the Accounting Company record.
