Deleting Contact records is not recommended. The most common scenario for deleting Contacts is when there are duplicate Contacts; in this case, it's recommended to combine the duplicates instead.

If deleting a Contact is absolutely necessary, you can select a Contact record on the Contacts and use the Delete action. This requires you to re-assign or confirm deletion of many other pieces of data throughout the Platform, so please consider this choice carefully. In most cases an error will appear due to a circular reference between tables which will need to be resolved. Furthermore, the Delete option is intentionally hidden from the Contacts page, so a SPoC first needs to grant full rights to the Contacts page via a Security Role.
