Part of the MinistryPlatform LifeSuite, Widgets are mobile-friendly applications designed to display on specific pages of your website. Widgets are a separate application and are fully integrated with MinistryPlatform. They add valuable functionality directly to your website, allowing guests and congregants to conduct business with your church in a safe manner that is instantly captured in the MinistryPlatform database. 

Widgets offer a compelling, integrated, and customized experience for your users. For example, the Group Finder widget allows a user to easily search for and filter Groups relevant to their needs. To fully optimize Widgets, make sure you are using the latest version of your browser.

Your Website - Your Way! 

Widgets are designed to appear on specific pages of your church website. They are mobile-friendly, responsive, and customizable. Your church can deploy one or more Widgets by adding a few lines of code on the desired pages. For more information, see Quick Start. Authentication

Any website visitor can create a User Account. The login, create account, and password reset functionality for Widgets is the same as the Platform, NeedConnect, and the Batch Manager Tool and will create a User record.

These Users will not count towards your monthly number of supported users unless you assign specific Security Roles to these users. A small subset of specific Widgets may require a Security Role (for example, Manage Prayer Requests & Feedback)

• About Me: Authenticated Users can tell you which Attributes (that you define) apply to them.
• Custom Form: Individuals can complete a Custom Form (with conditional logic!).
• Event Finder: Shows available online Events that are happening in the next 360 days and are accepting registrations.
• Event Details & Registration: Shows details for a single event and allows for free or paid registration.
• Group Detail: Selected from the Group Finder, displays additional Group information.
• Group Finder: Shows Groups that are available online and accepting new Participants.
• Invoice Details & Payment: Individuals can register themselves (and others!) for free or paid events.
• Language & Locale: Provides a multi-lingual approach, allowing the User to select their preferred language.
• Login: A User can login or create an account.
• Make a Pledge: Individuals can pledge toward a Pledge Campaign.
• Mission Trip Application: Individuals can apply for a specific Mission Trip and pledge to raise a required amount.
• My Contribution Statements: Authenticated users can view and download PDFs of their giving statements and update their Statement delivery method.
• My Giving: Authenticated Users to see details of their past financial gifts.
• My Groups:  Authenticated Users can view the Groups in which they currently participate.
• My Household: Authenticated Users can view and update Household details.
• My Invoices: Authenticated users can view their invoice history and pay outstanding balances.
• My Mission Trips: Authenticated Users can view and manage their Mission Trips.
• My Pledges: Authenticated Users can view and manage their Campaign pledges.
• My Subscriptions: Authenticated Users can view and update their Subscriptions.
• One-Click Unsubscribe: Individuals can unsubscribe from a single Publication or opt-out of bulk email.
• Online Directory Widget: Authenticated Users can search for basic contact information for fellow congregants or parishioners.
  
• Opportunity Details: Selecting from the Opportunity Finder, displays additional information and a response form.
• Opportunity Finder: Shows Opportunities that are available online and accepting Responses.
• Plan Your Visit: Individuals can express interest in attending and prepare to visit your church.
• Prayer & Feedback: Users can submit a prayer request, praise report, and/or comment.
• RSS Feeds: Easily organize and display a stream of content on your website.
• Subscribe to Publication: Individuals can subscribe to a Publication.

Since Widgets live on your website, that's where Users should go to access them!

However, for reference, the Widget Library can be found by opening a web browser and appending /widgets to your system domain. For example, if your MinistryPlatform URL is https://ministryplatform.com/mp, your widgets application would be found at https://ministryplatform.com/widgets.
