Create a new skin version

To alter your skin, follow the procedure below. This leaves the existing skin in place until the new one is tested.

1. Download the skin
2. Rename the htm file
3. Edit your skin files
4. Deploy and test the new skin

Replace a Skin In Use

If your church uses multiple skins in your portal, you may need to take additional steps to make sure everything looks correct. The skins in use should retain the same names (since they are referred to in URLs), so this procedure must be followed.

Since this can be a tricky operation, you may want to make changes directly on your server.
The following steps assume you are not editing the files directly on the server:

1. Make sure you have a working copy of the skin (the zip file)
2. If the skin is your default, temporarily set a different default
   (You may wish to upload a temporary copy with a different name to complete this step)
3. Delete the skin using the Portal Admin page
4. Upload the new version
5. If the skin was your default, set it back to the default
