Layouts

Once you click a page on the main menu, a data grid displays the records available on that page. You can choose the desired layout of the records on the page by clicking the layout drop-down in the main toolbar. There are five layout options, and availability varies by page. The layout preference is saved per user and per page until you change it or clear your browser's cache. Note that no matter the layout chosen, you visually see only the first 1,000 records on a page (but records beyond 1,000 are available for searching, selecting, reporting, etc.).

Grid

Grid is the default layout on all pages. This layout lists all records as rows and displays the record's task status indicator.

Images

The Images layout displays the records as a thumbnail of the default image attached to the record. If there is no image, the thumbnail displays "Photo Not Available". This layout is especially useful on the Contacts page.

Calendar

The Calendar layout displays the records on a calendar. This layout requires a Start_Date and End_Date, and so is only available on pages where the records are centered around a date like Events and Room Reservations. Like the Grid layout, the Calendar layout displays the record's task status indicator

The text displayed on the Calendar is the time (if there is one) and the Selected Record Expression for the page (which a SPoC can customize).

The record count at the bottom of the page takes into consideration both the view selected and the calendar dates within scope. For example, looking at Calendar layout of June 2016 the dates in scope (unless limited by the view selected) are Sunday 5/29/2016 to Saturday 7/9/2016.

Clicking an item in Calendar layout shows a preview of the record which shows the fields in the record and allows you to go directly to the record or page through the records using Previous and Next buttons.

Don't have the Calendar layout option? Ask a SPoC to ensure that the Page record has the Start Date and End Date fields filled out

Gantt

The Gantt layout displays the records on a gantt chart, which is a bar chart that illustrates a schedule. This layout requires a Start_Date and End_Date, and so is only available on pages where the records are centered around a date like Events and Room Reservations.

The text displayed on the Gantt is the Selected Record Expression for the page (which a SPoC can customize).

Timeline

The Timeline layout displays a timeline as a bar chart. This layout requires a Start_Date and End_Date, and so is only available on pages where the records are centered around a date like Events and Room Reservations.

The Date Pivot Field field determines which field in the page the dates are grouped by, and text on the bars is determined by the Selected Record Expression for the page (which a SPoC can customize).
