Explicitly Secured Actions

Basics
  • Some actions are highly specific and very powerful.
  • Explicitly Secured Actions are page-specific security options. For instance, having the right to attach an image to a Contact record does not automatically allow a user to attach an image to a household record.
  • They are explicitly assigned to Security Roles that can be selectively applied to users who need to perform those actions.
  • Explicitly Secured Actions include:
    • Quick Add
    • Export
    • Attach Files
    • Secure Records
To add or remove these actions
  1. Administration > Security Role
  2. Edit
  3. Find the desired page or sub-page
  4. Change the level of access as needed
  5. Check or uncheck the desired explicitly secured action
  6. Save
