Counseling

 
Note: The Counseling pages are available to customers who implemented prior to 2020. While not included in future deployments, the Counseling pages may be installed as a professional service upon request. We will continue to support the Counseling pages where installed. 

Structure

  • Engagement: Each counselor-counselee relationship. Engagements can stand alone (one-time meeting) or include several sessions.
  • Session: Each meeting an individual has with a counselor. All sessions are part of an engagement.

Creating a New Engagement

  1. From the Engagements page, click New
  2. Select the Contact
  3. Select the Counselor
  4. Select the Counseling Type
  5. Enter the Start Date and Time
  6. Enter the End Date and Time
  7. Enter relevant notes
  8. Click Save

Editing an Engagement

  1. On the Engagements page, open the Engagement record
  2. Click Edit
  3. Edit the information
  4. Click Save

Creating a New Counseling Session

  1. On the Counseling Sessions page, click New
  2. Select the Engagement
  3. Enter the Session Date
  4. Enter any desired notes
  5. Click Save

Editing a Counseling Session

  1. On the Counseling Sessions page, click the record to be edited
  2. Click Edit
  3. Edit the desired information
  4. Click Save

Editing Counseling Types

Counseling Types can be added or edited to accommodate the counseling structure at your church.

  1. On the Counseling Types page, either open a record or click New
  2. Add or edit the Counseling Type field
  3. Add or edit Notes
  4. Click Save

Securing Sensitive Counseling Information

Sensitive data contained within Counseling pages can be secured through the use of security roles. This access can happen at the page, sub-page, and even field level. Some churches have added tables to their Counseling section to house Counseling Documents and Counseling Document Types which can also be secured through Security Roles.
