Intulse

 

Intulse VoIP phone solutions provide a flexible, feature-rich communications system that can grow and change delivering seamless scalability, HD-quality voice, and features that power mobility, collaboration, and efficiency.

Intulse merges your phone with MinistryPlatform. Any screen in the Intulse App that would normally display a simple phone number automatically searches the Caller ID in the Platform and returns any records that match. That means that when someone calls, instead of seeing the Caller Id, you'll see their name. But wait! There's more ...

  • Simply click on the Contact's name to be taken directly to their record in the Platform
  • You can add call notes to the Contact log and the note will automatically contain the start time and duration of the call.
  • If the call was recorded, a link to the recording will be added to the Contact log.

You can also start calls to Contacts from within the Intulse App by searching for an individual name on the My Phone screen.

Initial Setup & Requirements

You'll need to use the Intulse App to experience this integration and all it has to offer. To set up this integration, you'll need to have the Intulse App on your favorite device and be logged in. Learn more here.

Note: Only Admins in the Intulse app can update some of the settings for your MinistryPlatform integration.

Integration Setup

In the Platform
  1. Administration > API Clients
  2. Create a new API Client with the following information:
    • Display Name: Intulse
    • Client ID: intulse
    • Client User: API, API
    • Client Secret: Generate a GUID and paste it into the Client Secret field
    • Make a note of the Client Secret you generate, you will need it in a later step
  3. Save your new API Client
In the Intulse App
  1. Click the More icon on the menu
  2. Select MinistryPlatform from the More menu
  3. Enter your MinistryPlatform Instance URL
  4. Enter your MinistryPlatform API User Client Secret
  5. Choose if you wish to enable automatic call logging
  6. Save. After saving, the Authentication Status will indicate if the connection between Intulse and MinistryPlatform was set up using the login information you provided.
  7. You can now select a MinistryPlatform User that represents you. Each member of your organization needs to complete this final step.
