This utility calculates the number of miles and number of driving minutes from the Household Address to the Household Congregation Address. Includes adding two new fields to the Household Table: Driving Distance and Driving Time. These are populated automatically with this information and can be used to query a list of Households within X miles of their campus or Y minutes drive time.
This Utility must be installed and enabled by Think Ministry. Contact support to request this. See Billing Details.
Congregations must have a Location with an Address for the routine to compare them with Household Addresses. It is to your advantage to Geocode these manually at the outset. See Map My Selection Tool.
A Bing API key must be configured. See Setup for Bing API Key.
The routine will run automatically overnight and calculate values for 5,000 records.
Only Geocoded Addresses will be calculated, so this may take days to calculate values for all records in the database.
The following fields are updated in Households:
These are cleared if an edit is made to the Address_Line_1 value in the corresponding Address record.
