The Batch Manager Tool is equipped with state of the art CAR/LAR (Check Amount Recognition/Legal Amount Recognition) technology. If you scan checks, the Batch Manager Tool automatically reads the amount from the check image and populates your Donation total. If you import Donations in from a file, the Donation total is also be populated.
The BMT compares the CAR/LAR and if there is a discrepancy between the two, it will use the following logic to choose which one to auto-populate as the amount for the Donation:
*Keep in mind “is readable” means it has a high accuracy probability.
If the total cannot be read or you manually entered the Donation, simply add the appropriate Donation total.
